Business journalist, startupper and media analyst, freelance columnist at Abu Dhabi’s The National and contributor at Il Sole 24 Ore, specifically for Nòva, the technology section. I’m the former deputy editor at Rome-based journalism laboratory pagina99 and the co-founder and former editor in chief at award winning Linkiesta.it. Two daughters, a great wife and many bikes, for six years I have been a contributor at Newsweek while also working for the Italian news-agency Adnkronos. Previously I wrote for Reuters. Here I followed from Parma the Parmalat scandal, the largest financial scandal in Italy, breaking several news including the indictment against the then almighty Italian banker Cesare Geronzi. That was after coming back from London where, after attending the MA in International Journalism at City University, I worked as an intern at the website of the Financial Times and then as Assistant producer for Cnbc. I have a first class degree with honor in Philosophy (Epistemology) at Milan University. While I was still studying, I moved my first steps in this profession writing for a radio station based in Milan, Radio Popolare.
